About the Company

Trella aims to structure and regulate the freight industry with a goal of improving efficiency and reducing waste throughout the entire supply chain. This can only be achieved through building technology to create an interconnected network of carriers and shippers. Through this technology, Trella will improve shipping routes, increase truck utilization and efficiently batch shipments. This will effectively reduce costs throughout the entire supply chain, improving carrier and shipper economics and ensure both ends of the marketplace profitably grow their businesses - creating unprecedented economic opportunities in the logistics space - while reducing environmental waste.

Key Job Purpose

In this role, you will be part of a Shipper Platform management team that oversees a growing sales team dedicated to expanding our customer base. Additionally, this person will be responsible for continuing to build out the group of Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives to drive adoption and scale of this product.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a team of entry-level and experienced (0-3 years) sales individuals to scale out a customer base for our Large Enterprise or SME shipper facing product

  • Support management with recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, training, motivating and performance monitoring of the Shipper Platform sales team

  • Collaborate with sales management, sales operations, and sales enablement to set strategy and implement best practices across the sales team

  • Ensure training and coaching around sales processes best practices and tools such as PipeDrive, Salesforce, Groove, LinkedIn, and others

Job requirements


At least 3 years of hands-on management experience in a sales environment with experience managing and developing Sales Reps and/or full cycle Sales teams (B2B a major plus)
